One-on-One Interview Audio Transcription Services by Production Transcripts

A One-on-One interview is one person interviewing another person (e.g. a sit-down interview). The responses from the person being interviewed (interviewee) are transcribed verbatim. The interviewer's questions are paraphrased for clarity.

We provide two types of verbatim transcripts for One-on-One Interviews.

  • True Verbatim - all the 'uhms and uhs' and 'stu-stutters' are transcribed.
  • Clean Verbatim - the content of the interviewee's responses are verbatim, but we omit the non-verbal utterance such as 'uh..' and 'uhm..', 'double- doubled' words and 'st-st-stutters'.

Note for TV & Film Clients: For finished, edited shows see TV 'as broadcast' or Film Continuity

Note: If you want the questions transcribed Verbatim in addition to the answers, Type-2 pricing applies.

Time coding is available as an option if your materials are submitted on VHS or DVD with a visible timecode window burn (BITC).

Notes on Audio Formats for One-on-One Interviews:
  • All interviews submitted on Micro Cassette are billed at the Type 2 rate.
  • For Audio Cassettes, each side of the cassette is billed as a separate transcript. Thus, if you have a 60 minute interview and 45 minutes of it are on Side A and 15 minutes are on Side B, you will be billed for two transcripts, one 45 minutes, the other 15 minutes. See How We Price for more details.

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
