A panel discussion is any audio where a group of people are fielding questions either from a moderator or from an audience.

We have provided panel discussion transcription services for several large conferences in the past and are set up to quickly and efficiently turn your material around so they can be available to your clients almost immediately.

When recording a panel discussion please try to place a microphone in front of each speaker. As with focus groups or seminars, we recommend video taping your panel discussion for best quality.

• We highly recommend recording your panel discussion on Video.
• DO NOT USE micro cassette if at all possible. The resulting transcript will most likely be extremely poor. Often times, we can transcribe micro cassette panel discussions only on a 'best efforts' basis.
• Proper recording technique for panel discussions makes a huge difference in transcription quality.
• For Audio Cassettes, each side of the cassette is billed as a separate transcript. Thus, if you have a 60 minute lecture and 45 minutes of it are on Side A and 15 minutes are on Side B, you will be billed for two transcripts, one 45 minutes, the other 15 minutes.
