SmartFTP is available for free on Downloads.com. Once you've downloaded it, install it and launch SmartFTP.

Be sure to at least do the "Connect" and "Upload" tutorial.

Where it says "ftp.myhost.com" in the connection tutorial, replace that with "ftp.productiontranscripts.com".

Letting Us Know About Your Upload

Now that you've uploaded the file, send us an e-mail to let us know about your file. The e-mail should include the following information:

• Name of File
• File Size (very important)
• File Length (in minutes)
• Names of the people talking on the file
• Type of audio ( Type-1, Type-2, Type-3, etc.)
• Service Level (Normal or Rush)
• Any special notes or instructions

It is important that you let us know the size and length of the file so that we can confirm that we received the entire upload. Sometimes uploads are interrupted and we receive only part of a file.

If you want to upload additional files, you can simply repeat the process starting a Figure 6. To upload multiple files at once, consult the SmartFTP documentation.

If you are done uploading, you can exit the program. If you are still connected, it will ask if you want to disconnect. It is okay to do so.
